Collaboration on Graphene-Related Product Development at the National University of Singapore

New Frontier Capital supports and collaborates the project of the applications such as graphene and Multilayer Amorphous Carbon (MAC), a next-generation technology, which is led by Prof. Barbaros Oezyilmaz at National University of Singapore, to bring this technology to the markets.

Given the rapidly growing demand for AI hardware, the development of new materials with advanced capabilities is essential for efficient computing. NFC sees the project has a potential to revolutionize, a Game-Changer, the status quo across various industries, including the semiconductor industry.

The following are the fields where applications of next-generation technologies are anticipated:
・Next-generation energy (ultra-fast charging, extended battery life)
・Ultra-high-speed communications (Beyond 5G/6G)
・Next-generation semiconductors and electronic devices (Beyond Silicon)
・High-performance materials and infrastructure (aerospace, construction)
・Biotechnology and healthcare (ultra-high-precision sensors)

By leveraging our network within Japan’s industrial ecosystem, NFC aims to continuously support the project.
